Muscle power

Forget the wind, use your arms and legs instead! Rowing and canoeing are physically demanding. Luckily, you can stop off in your skiff, canoe or sloop at our dinghy beach to catch your breath.

At the dinghy beach, you'll find the Kanokay– a canoeing centre that organises all sorts of canoeing activities for young and old alike. Kanokay operates out of Muiderzand Marina and anywhere else where there's enough water.

Regular canoeing times from our dinghy beach at Muiderzand Marina are Friday evenings from 7 to 8.30 p.m., Saturday afternoons from 2 to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Canoe/kayak/surf ski rental & lessons
You can rent a canoe or kayak at the above-mentioned times or even take part in a kayak fitness lesson. Kanokay also rents surf skis. Kanokay offers a wide range of courses. All canoe trips depart from the dinghy beach.

Sloop rowing
You can moor your sloop at our dinghy beach. If you'd like to meet other sloop rowers, then head on over to the marina. Here, you'll find the Almere sloop-rowing club.
