A day in Amsterdam

Whether you want to visit a museum, stroll through the city or attend a concert, there is always something to do in lively Amsterdam. Advertising our capital city is probably not necessary, but we will be happy to give you a few tips!

The 9 Streets

Where are the best and fun shops in Amsterdam? Without doubt, in the 9 Streets. The 9 Streets is probably one of Amsterdam's most picturesque neighbourhoods nestled between its idyllic canals. Check out the 9 Streets website to find out if there are any special offers available.

The Rijksmuseum, the Stedelijk and the Van Gogh! Museumplein is better than ever before, now that all these museums have been renovated and extended.

Tip: Buy your tickets for the Rijksmuseum online, because at the weekend and in the holidays queues at the ticket desks can get really long.

Food & Culture

Another special location is 'De Hallen'. Located in an old tram depot from 1901 in Amsterdam West. The renovated national monument has been transformed into a vibrant centre of media, fashion, culture, hospitality and crafts. The complex is home to creative businesses and talents, but also to the popular Food Halls, Hotel de Hallen, restaurants Meat West and Stop 3, a day care centre, a library, film studios and a cinema: the 'Filmhallen'.

How to get to Amsterdam?

From Muiderzand Marina, it's a fifteen-minute walk to the Almere Poort railway station. Trains leave for Amsterdam every fifteen minutes. Plan your trip here.
