Update measures Coronavirus (24 maart)

The government announced new measures to combat the coronavirus on Monday evening (23 March). Following the most recent guidelines from the government and RIVM, we ask you to take the following changes into account:

  • We are working with an adjusted planning to minimize contacts. Please bear in mind that we cannot directly meet all your wishes.
  • Preferably visit the port on your own (or with a partner) and in any case not with a group.
  • Visit the harbour office only when really necessary! Contact us by phone, e-mail or social media. Also for making agreements about the launching of your boat and (mast-)activities.
  • Payments can only be made by PIN or credit card, we do NOT accept cash. This also applies to the filling station.
  • In order to protect you and our colleagues, we ask you to keep a suitable distance (at least 1.5 metres).

We keep one sanitary building open and of course it will be kept extra clean. The playground is not accessible and the shops are only open to a limited extent.

We take our responsibility and assume that you will do the same. We may close off parts of the port and/or entrance gates to prevent unwanted traffic.

Take care of each other and stay healthy!

Kind regards,

Team Marina Muiderzand,
Part of Port Adhoc/ Thuishavens

Additional measures to prevent the spread of coronavirus (16th March)

As a result of the recent developments surrounding the Coronavirus, we are taking extra (hygiene) measures to protect the health of our employees and guests. We expect things to get busier at the port in the near future. Of course we like that, but we would like to make some arrangements with you in order to keep that on the right track.

Of course, we adhere to the guidelines of the government (and the HISWA). In view of the latest publication by the RIVM, we have decided to adjust the staffing levels.

We are scheduling fewer people to reduce the risk of the entire team dropping out. As a result, work may not run as smoothly as you would expect from us in the near future. Think, for example, of the faucets and summer preparation of bathhouses and scaffolding.

With the exception of restaurant HarborHouse and Sunrunners: (closed for the time being), the companies at the port use the opening hours that are customary for this time of year. Of course, the harbour office can also be reached. However, we would like to ask you to contact us preferably by telephone or e-mail.

Visit our harbour office only if this is really necessary (and payments preferably not in cash).

We hope for your understanding and cooperation and will keep you informed of developments. Keep an eye on our facebook page.

Kind regards,

Team Marina Muiderzand,
Part of Port Adhoc/ Thuishavens
